The Internet of Things Application Technology(ITAT) is among the Second Batch of Modern Apprenticeship Pilot Majors of the Ministry of Education, 1+X Sensor Network Application Development Pilot Majors, and Wenzhou Key Construction Majors, which has built Wenzhou IOT talents cultivation and training base, Wenzhou vocational skill level appraisal center for IOT installation and testing personnel. It possesses more than 10 labs and training rooms for sensor network application development, IOT system integration and so on. Among them, The IOT “double-qualified” teacher innovation studio has received approval of the “Thirteenth Five-year” Demonstration training construction project of higher vocational education in Zhejiang province. The faculty of the ITAT boasts strong professional team, rich teaching experience and abundant enterprise practice. Therefore, the textbook Web Front-end Development edited by the faculty selected as “Thirteenth Five-Year” National Planned Textbook and students in this major had wonderful performances in the National Competition for Skills of Vocational Education, which have won a second prize and a third prize in the national level, and three first prizes in the provincial level. As the social influence of the major keeps expanding, it has held China Information Technology Industry Federation & China IOT Industry and Education Alliance Conference, the first “Newland Cup” 1+X Sensor Network Application Development Teaching Ability Competition and the IOT technology application event (higher vocational education group) of 2021 Zhejiang Vocational Students Skills Competition, and has become a council member of Wenzhou IOT Industry Association. Adhering to the integration of production and education and cooperation between school and enterprise, it has also signed cooperation agreements with such more than 10 technology companies as Juchang Electrical Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Newland Technology and CHINT IOT sensor network industrial park, realizing a seamless connection among students’ learning, practice, certificate obtaining and employment.
